Import Using Setup Wizard

Open Setup Wizard

Start the wizard from your dashboard

  • Click the "Setup Wizard" button in the sidebar
  • It has a sparkle effect to catch your attention
  • The wizard modal will open in full screen

Progress to Guest Import Step

Navigate through the wizard to reach guest import

  • Complete Step 1: Select or create organization
  • Complete Step 2: Configure event details
  • Arrive at Step 3: Import Guests
  • You'll see four options for adding guests

Select CSV Import Option

Choose to import from spreadsheet

  • Click on "Import from CSV" option
  • A file upload area will appear
  • Download the template if you need the correct format
  • The wizard shows a preview of required columns

Upload Your CSV File

Select and upload your guest list

  • Click "Choose File" or drag and drop your CSV
  • File must be .csv format (not .xlsx)
  • Maximum file size: 10MB
  • Can import up to 10,000 guests at once
  • The wizard validates the file immediately

Review and Confirm

Check the import preview and complete

  • Preview shows first 5 rows of your data
  • Check for any validation errors or warnings
  • See total number of guests to be imported
  • Click "Continue" to proceed with import
  • Guests are automatically added to your event

Pro Tip: Use Templates

Always start with our CSV template to ensure perfect formatting. It includes all column headers and example data.

Quick Import: Copy from Excel

You can copy data from Excel and paste into our template CSV. Just ensure column order matches.

Data Validation

The system validates emails and phones automatically. Invalid entries are flagged but won't stop the import.

Bulk Operations

After import, you can bulk edit guests using filters and selection tools in the guest list.
